Paso a Paso

Argentina, San Carlos

Born of the unfailing friendship between Norberto Páez and Sebastián Bisole, Paso a Paso is a passionate winemaking adventure rooted in ancient winemaking methods. Friends since the age of 12, these two agricultural engineers have used their complementary skills to create authentic wines. Back in 2010, they were charmed by a 72-year-old Bonarda vineyard in El Cepillo, San Carlos. They then decided to incorporate this grape variety, in addition to Malbec, into their project. Their first production in 2016 consisted of 3,000 bottles of Malbec and Bonarda and marked the beginning of their success. Winners of a silver medal at the “Bonarda Argentina 2015” competition, they launched their own brand and continue to produce wines in small quantities with minimal intervention. Their unique methodology, includes microfermentations in old rebuilt barrels and reflects their commitment to quality and innovation. Today, Norberto and Sebastián make their wines at the Oralia winery in the Tupungato valley, where they follow a philosophy of constant research and development. Their meticulous and respectful approach to nature, using biodynamic techniques, enables each wine to fully express the character of its terroir. This process, based on meticulous attention to every detail, guarantees top-quality wines. Paso a Paso offers a diverse range of wines. Each bottle is the result of a marriage of art and science that tells the story of their land and friendship, a rich testimony to their passion for artisan winemaking.
