Davide Vignato

Italy, Gambellara

Davide Vignato is the man behind this fabulous 14-hectare vineyard, where Garganega is the emblematic star grape varietal in Gambellara region. Drawing his roots from his father’s winemaking heritage, he strives to create 100% natural wines that pay tribute to the rich territory from which the vines draw all their personality. The vineyard is located 500m from the extinct volcano Monte San Marco, which left behind long flows of black basalt emblematic of the land. Since the family winery was taken over by Davide, all wines are certified organic, with the aim of producing wines that tell the mineral soul of this rich volcanic soil in all its purity and elegance. The wines of Davide Vignato are natural wines, as in the image of the territory, volcanic wines with unique mineral characteristics and wines of the people, worked by hand from generation to generation, respecting the tradition of yesteryear and the more modern and precise work of today.
