With prestigious appellations such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône Villages and Côtes du Rhône, this vineyard stands out for its commitment to excellence and sustainability. Rooted in a Roman history attested by old vines and amphora fragments, Gigognan began a new chapter in 1996. Renovated in 2012, the estate has been given new impetus by a team of passionate experts. Owner since 2017, Jean-Francois Hénin, is the worthy heir to a passion for wine passed on by his father. He works with rigor and respect for the environment in the service of biodiversity! An eco-designed winery and new plots of land acquired from Jaboulet bear witness to his commitment. Biodynamics and respect for nature are an integral part of Jean-François’ DNA. Under his visionary leadership, Château Gigognan embraces biodynamic practices, celebrating the richness and complexity of the Rhône Valley appellations.
