Vigna Lenuzza

In his mid-twenties but already a qualified oenologist, Daniele Lenuzza and his wife Tanika Paris are proud stewards of the family domaine based in the small town of Prepotto, Friuli. Together they represent the 3rd generation to work the land; a red marly soil known primarily as a cru for the indigenous red grape varietal known as schiopettino. Daniele takes an organic approach to viticulture and vinifies in a way that showcases the quintessential peppery characteristics of his region’s underappreciated local varietal. The wines of Lenuzza are thus authentic and elegant like pinot noir, owing to Danielle’s experience staging at some of Burgundy’s top domaines.
