Domaine Mann – Vignoble des 3 terres
France, EguisheimFollowing the development of a new bioclimatic site in 2019, Sébastien Mann decided to launch a new signature, Vignoble des 3 Terres, which represents the highlighting of the three major types of terroir exploited and appreciated by Domaine Mann: granite, sandstone and limestone. The estate comprises 12.8 hectares of vines (12 white and 0.8 red) divided into 55 micro-parcels, stretching 14 kilometers between Eguisheim and Ingersheim. But if we go back in time, it all began with Jean-Louis and Fabienne Mann, who inherited the family estate in 1982 and decided to produce their first wines in 1998. Since then, the estate has been certified organic in 2008 and biodynamic in 2010. Sébastien joined the domaine in 2009, and his approach is quite simple: “the origin of a wine lies in the grapes that make it.” The vines are worked with the purest respect for the soil and the plant, to obtain the best grapes that will reveal themselves in their purest expression. This approach is also adopted in the cellar, where pressing is slow and gentle, and the wines are filtered only to ensure their clarity in the bottle. Sébastien produces three categories of wine: vins de soif, vins de terroir and grands crus. These wines are singular, displaying wonderful balance and sophisticated complexity. Sébastien has also introduced a sweetness scale displayed on the back label to reflect sugar, alcohol and acidity levels, to better guide wine lovers. Le Vignoble des 3 Terres embodies the new generation of talented winemakers, respectful of nature and eager to share digestible, healthy wines in perfect harmony with their terroir. Don’t wait any longer for a unique wine experience!
