Domaine Solence

France, Mazan

Located at the crossroads of Mazan and Carpentras, at the foot of the majestic Mont Ventoux and the Vaucluse mountains, Domaine Solence embodies generosity, sincerity and benevolence in the creation of authentic terroir wines. This family-run winery, founded in 1992 and formerly known as Terres de Solence, was the first historic estate to be certified organic in the Ventoux region. Domaine Solence has been certified organic since 1995, and now extends over 14 hectares certified by Ecocert in 2008. The switch to biodynamic viticulture, begun in 2008, testifies to Jean-Luc and Anne-Marie Isnard’s deep commitment to environmentally-friendly practices. As Jean-Luc says: “We believe that beauty inspires respect. ” Domaine Solence boasts a wide variety of terroirs. There are alluvial and limestone soils where Syrah, Grenache and Marselan thrive, and clay-loam soils perfect for white and rosé wines. This geological diversity, combined with meticulous viticultural practices, guarantees grapes of the highest quality. Also producing IGP Vaucluse wines, Domaine Solence stands out for its ability to create authentic wines that perfectly reflect the richness of their terroirs. The estate’s privileged geographical location lends their wines a refreshing suppleness and balance. The grape varieties used for their blends – white and black grenache, syrah, cinsault, muscat petit grain, clairette, roussanne and viognier – fully express the unique character of the Domaine Solence terroir. Each bottle is the fruit of passionate work, offering a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. Discover the finesse and complexity of Domaine Solence wines, a true testament to winemaking excellence and passion.
